Slower flow is usually caused by fine particles, sediment, or impurities collecting on the surface of the filter over time. Please clean and flush the filter according to the product instructions. If the flow does not improve, the filter may have reached the end of its service life and should be replaced. Note: If the filter has been left unused or allowed to dry for a few days, air may become trapped inside the filter pores. Re-rinsing or re-priming the filter can help restore normal flow.
This usually happens when the lower chamber is already full while the upper chamber still contains water. Gravity-fed systems are not designed to have a watertight seal between the upper and lower chambers. If the lower chamber is full, extra water from the upper chamber may leak from the joint between the two chambers. To prevent this, empty the lower chamber before refilling the upper chamber, and do not overfill the upper chamber beyond the recommended water level.
This is normal for gravity-fed filtration systems. As the water level in the upper chamber gets lower, there is less water pressure pushing water through the filter, so the filtration process naturally slows down. A small amount of water may remain in the upper chamber after filtration. This does not usually mean the filter is defective.
Cloudy water after first use is usually caused by trapped air, loose carbon fines, or manufacturing dust remaining inside a new filter. Before drinking, rinse and flush the filters according to the instructions. You may need to repeat the flushing and filtering process several times until the water runs clear. If the water remains cloudy after repeated rinsing, or if you notice unusual odor, visible particles, or discoloration, please contact customer support for assistance.
A temporary taste may occur when the filters are new, not fully rinsed, installed incorrectly, or have reached the end of their service life. Please check that the filters are installed properly and rinse them according to the product instructions before use. If the system has not been used for several days, discard the first batch of filtered water or run a fresh filtration cycle before drinking. If the taste continues, the filters may need to be replaced.
Small black particles are usually carbon fines from a new carbon filter. This can happen during first use and is generally normal. Please rinse and flush the filter according to the instructions before drinking. Continue flushing until the water runs clear. If black particles continue to appear after repeated rinsing, please contact customer support.
A new filter may filter slowly if air is trapped inside the filter media or if the filter has not been fully primed. Please follow the priming or flushing instructions before first use. Once the filter is fully saturated, the flow rate should improve. Because gravity-fed systems rely on natural water pressure instead of electricity or plumbing pressure, the flow rate will be slower than faucet or under-sink systems.
We do not recommend overfilling the upper chamber. Only fill the upper chamber according to the recommended water level. If the lower chamber is full and more water is added to the upper chamber, water may leak from the area where the two chambers meet. For best results, check the lower chamber before refilling.
Filter life depends on water quality, usage, and the specific filter model. Water with higher sediment, chlorine, minerals, or other impurities may cause the filter to clog or reach the end of its service life sooner. Please replace the filters according to the product instructions, or sooner if you notice slower flow, unusual taste, odor, or visible changes in water quality.
No. Do not use hot water with the system. Use cold or room-temperature water only. Hot water may damage the filters, seals, or other components and may affect filtration performance.
