FAQ

Curious about how the RO filter works? Our FAQ section covers everything from filter lifespan to installation tips for clean, pure water every day.

A: Leaks are usually caused by loose connections, missing or misaligned gaskets, incorrect adapters, or tubing that is not fully inserted. Please check that all rubber gaskets are properly seated, the correct adapter is used, and all connections are securely tightened. If the connection is threaded, applying Teflon tape may help improve the seal. If the issue continues, please contact customer support for assistance.
A: This is usually caused by tiny air bubbles, especially after first installation, filter replacement, or long periods of non-use. To check, pour the filtered water into a clear glass and let it sit for a few minutes. If it gradually clears from the bottom up, the cloudiness is likely caused by air bubbles rather than impurities. Flush the system according to the product instructions before drinking. The bubbles usually decrease after several days of normal use.
A: Many LCF filters are not designed to reduce TDS. TDS meters measure dissolved substances in water, including beneficial minerals and trace soluble substances. A similar or slightly higher TDS reading does not necessarily mean the filter is not working. Some LCF filters may retain or add minerals, which can affect TDS readings.
A: This may happen if the filter is new, not flushed enough, installed incorrectly, or needs replacement. Please flush the filter according to the instructions, make sure it is installed properly, and replace it when needed. For alkaline or mineral filters, a slightly different taste may be normal at first.
A: Slower water flow may be caused by a clogged filter, blocked inlet, low water pressure, kinked tubing, or higher levels of sediment and impurities in your source water. Please check the connections, water pressure, and filter life. If your water contains heavy sediment or comes from a well, pre-filtration may be needed.
A: Filter life depends on water quality, usage, and local conditions. Water with more sediment, chlorine, hardness, or other impurities may cause the filter to clog or reach the end of its service life sooner. Replace the filter according to the product instructions, or sooner if you notice reduced flow, unusual taste, odor, or changes in water quality.
A: We recommend using compatible LCF replacement filters only. Using non-compatible filters may affect fit, filtration performance, water flow, or cause leakage. For best results, please choose the replacement filter listed for your specific LCF system.
